# Psalm 125 ## Psalm 125:1 - [KJV] They that trust in the LORD *shall be* as mount Zion, *which* cannot be removed, *but* abideth for ever. - [ASV] They that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever. - [YLT] Those trusting in Jehovah *are* as Mount Zion, It is not moved -- to the age it abideth. ### Notes on Psalm 125:1 - ## Psalm 125:2 - [KJV] As the mountains *are* round about Jerusalem, so the LORD *is* round about his people from henceforth even for ever. - [ASV] As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore. - [YLT] Jerusalem! mountains *are* round about her, And Jehovah *is* round about His people, From henceforth even unto the age. ### Notes on Psalm 125:2 - ## Psalm 125:3 - [KJV] For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. - [ASV] For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity. - [YLT] For the rod of wickedness resteth not On the lot of the righteous, That the righteous put not forth on iniquity their hands. ### Notes on Psalm 125:3 - ## Psalm 125:4 - [KJV] Do good, O LORD, unto *those that be* good, and *to them that are* upright in their hearts. - [ASV] Do good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts. - [YLT] Do good, O Jehovah, to the good, And to the upright in their hearts. ### Notes on Psalm 125:4 - ## Psalm 125:5 - [KJV] As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: *but* peace *shall be* upon Israel. - [ASV] But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity.
